Model Schools: APPLICATIONS
Why should you apply?
PBIS Model & Spotlight Schools will serve as examples for other schools implementing or exploring PBIS. As a model or spotlight school, your example will help spread this effective and beneficial framework throughout the state. In addition, your school will receive local and statewide recognition.
What do Model & Spotlight Schools do to support others?
WV PBIS Model and Spotlight Schools may be asked to:
- Agree to a walkthrough of your school campus from the state PBIS Leadership team.
- Agree to an annual evaluation with the WV PBIS team on your status as a Model/Spotlight School.
- Share resources that can be highlighted on the WV PBIS website, social media platforms, and/or with other schools.
- Serve as a demonstration site that can be highlighted in presentations, videos, or webinars.
- Present at WV PBIS academies.
- Provide free site visits or consultations to other PBIS teams, State Stakeholders, Administrators, WV PBIS staff, etc.
